Joseph Aoun


CEO

Joseph Aoun is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Oxydus. He is responsible for its strategy, growth and innovation as it pioneers its path to being the world's most impact driven tech company, changing the way we produce clean, drinkable water through AWT (atmospheric water technology).

He is a visionary leader, who seeks to solve the growing global water crisis affecting more than 1.1 billion people worldwide. Under his supervision he continues to propel Oxydus' reputation as a trusted company that is also disrupting the industry. Oxydus is his most ambitious project to date, and in the last 2 years, he has been successfully issued two US patents in addition to being awarded an intentional PCT patent. To help him with the company's mission, he has recruited over 10 experts ranging from scientists and creatives, to water and legal advisors.

Mr. Aoun's background includes 15+ years of experience in technology, real estate, service businesses and charity. Steadfast and unwilling to compromise, Mr. Aoun's dream is to bring peace to the world and to do that he first needs to tackle the world's biggest environmental challenges.

Joseph Danho


Chief Biotech Officer

Joseph Ibrahim George Danho is an environmental microbiology expert who specializes in water safety and quality. Joseph is responsible for research, analysis, and quality control for the Oxydus team.

Danho is a member of Bethlehem University's Water and Soil Environmental Research Unit, where he is responsible for the biological and chemical analysis of water and wastewater. He received formal molecular technique training at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Beersheba, Israel; The Hebrew University for Agriculture; and the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research - UFZ in Leipzig, Germany.

Danho holds a Bachelor's degree in chemistry from Bethlehem University and a Master's degree from Bethlehem University and the Palestine Polytechnic University. For his Master's degree, he researched the presence of E. coli in vital water sources in the West Bank.

Oren Saar


Company Advisor

Oren Saar, B.Sc., MBA, is a seasoned business executive with global experience in the semiconductor and cleantech fields. Saar has held positions in marketing, M&A, operations management, project management, international business, and manufacturing teams in the United States and China.

Saar has served as the general manager of the China office of Kulick and Soffa; he later relocated to Irvine, California to work as the company's Business Unit Director. He next returned to his native Israel to work as the VP of Global Procurement for TowerJazz and as CEO of Micro PointPro, a spinoff of Kulicke & Soffa. Currently, he advises companies in global markets on business and manufacturing strategies, operation efficiency, and the establishment of operations.

Saar holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel. He also holds an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and Fudan University in Shanghai.

 

Bob Hidell


Head Geologist / Hydrogeologist

For over fifty years, Mr. Hidell has managed Hidell International, an international consulting firm with a global reputation in the beverage and bottled water industries. During this period he has overseen long range business development strategies, product development, finance and administration of the firm. He has been instrumental in the development of the company's joint venture relationships and the execution of business opportunities.

He is a former member of the Board of Directors of the International Bottled Water Association (IBWA); he presently sits on the Executive Committee of the IBWA and the Supplier Committee and Education Committee. He is the past Chairman of the International Council of the Bottled Water Associations and Chairman of that organization's Supplier Committee and Convention Committee. In 2001, he was granted the highest honor in the bottled water industry - being inducted into the Beverage World Magazine Bottled Water Hall of Fame. He is also a member of the International Society of Beverage Technologists. He is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Neverfail Spring Water Co., Inc. in Sydney, Australia. Neverfail was a publicly held firm with a capitalized value exceeding $300 million and is now owned by Amital, Ltd., the Coca Cola franchise in Australia. He is a member of the Council of Experts of the Association International de la Distribution des Produits Alimentaires et des Products de Grande Consommation (AIDA), Bruxells, Belgium, an international organization servicing the logistics and distribution industry. In 2013 Mr. Hidell was awarded "The Lifetime Achievement Award" by the Berkeley Springs International Water Festival for his support of the water industry for over fifty years.

Mr. Hidell is an internationally recognized expert in the bottled water industry with particular experience in bottled water plant design and technology, management, operations and international economic market research. In addition to bottled water and beverages, Mr. Hidell is a recognized expert in the point of use industry. Here he specializes in the application of advanced water treatment and waste water treatment technologies.

 

Andrew Morabito


Intellectual Property Attorney

Andrew has seven years of work related to intellectual property for components and systems for various types of machines. This includes solar systems, air and water filtration systems, sanitation devices, and over nine years of work related experience working with software in relation to the components and system. Throughout his career he has researched these and related technical fields including those related to sorbent materials and water purification.

In related fields he has worked for IBM related to software and associated components in a plurality of green technologies including but not limited to sorbent materials wind turbines, and solar panels.
